Tambayan

Here in Tokyo, part of our routine is to stroll around, explore new places, or just simply watch people come and go. And we happen to have a favorite place to hang out. We can spend the whole day roaming inside this building called Ito Yokado. This is our tambayan, somewhat similar to Megamall in Manila. Sometines, we buy some groceries here, especially when it is on sale. Some of Luke's clothings (particularly Pooh-inspired winter clothes) were bought here.

This is our favorite part of the building. It's on the 4th floor, alongside the infant/toddler section. It's comfortable staying in this area, where Luke can play till he becomes tired, sleepy or hungry. He likes to watch babies/toddlers/kids of varying age come and go. I, too, exchange smiles with some mothers, followed by the usual question, "Nan ka getsu?"

His pedia's clinic is just a few steps away from the building. So, on his next visit, we'll surely make a whole-day stop here. ;)
