Crossing the bridge

It is said that walkers are made to aid would-be toddlers in their journey towards their walking milestone. However, I seem to prove it, by observing this little fellow, that it has been more of a hindrance than a help. Crossing this "bridge" that divides our Western-style room and dining/kitchen area is an easy task for Luke when crawling. And he crawls fast now. Without so much effort, he easily gets anywhere in the house, even in those areas where he's not supposed to go (guess?). He also makes a stop anywhere and maneuver from crawling to standing, holding on to something that would secure him from falling.

When clad in the walker, however, he is limited to only moving his feet to roam around in one place -- and not able to cross the bridge. The only thing (I think) he's happy about using his walker is that he gets to mess up everything his hungry-for-things-to-clutter hands could reach -- from papers, stuffed toys, other small toys, bottled water to his freshly-sterilised feeding bottles (obviously, I have to redo it).

One thing is certain, though. With or without the help of the walker, this little boy follows mami practically anywhere and everywhere she goes.
