This blog is for and all about my firstborn ...

His name is Luke Nathaniel. He is more than half a year old now and growing very fast and healthy, weighing more than 8 kilos. He seems to be friendly (just like mami!) as he smiles at everyone but cries his lungs out when mami seems to be not around.

Having him into our lives is the most precious gift we ever received from our dear Lord. His coming into our lives, though, was not an easy road to happiness and fulfillment. There was a threat to the unborn child in me, and my nine months of pregnancy was not only filled with excitement, but also coupled with anxiety, worries and doubts. Despite the unthinkable threat to cut short the life of our precious angel (and my own life as well), my husband and I have decided to continue my pregnancy with the hope and assurance that the good Lord will be with us at all times. Indeed, the Lord was (and still is -- always, in fact) good to us that He removed that threat and gave us a miracle. On February 26th, Luke came into this world strong and healthy, no abnormalities whatsoever.

As his proud parents, we enjoy every minute of our lives with our li'l angel. Though taking care of him has its own share of hard times, his smile alone -- and witty laughter -- takes away the weariness and physical pain that I feel most of the time.

This blog hopes to introduce Luke to everyone in this world as he is a living testimony of God's love and miracle. So, read on ... and get to know my firstborn!
